This is part of a really long one. Most have vocals interspersed, so to keep this site clean of such…tones, here is a nice clip between some vocal sections. The main melody fits with the title. Gear: Electric Guitar and M13
Using the body-mount transducer pickup. Not the best audio quality but it’s what was handy at the time.
I don’t remember any details of this one. I think the title says it all: Nice Happy Melody Oh I can however apologize for the plastic key-press sounds. I think this was recorded after the house ‘bedtime’ so the volume was really low.
This was my 9th day recording on this found organ. I haven’t recorded it much lately. Listening to these makes me want to. 3 files: 1 coming up with the idea. 2 sort of covering the idea…5 minutes later. 3 a 1 bar loop of a sweet part.
So I’ve played with Glen randomly on Pacific avenue during more organic street events (Halloween, Obama winning, tuesday jams), but this was the first time we played together intentionally. Feeding the hungry in Boulder Creek. My surrogate family does a feeding of the hungry weekly. I finally checked it out and couldn’t help but play on the old out of tune piano that was sitting in the church cafeteria.
